We had a pleasure of welcoming from Taiwan to a shrine of Wakeoe located at Kita-ku, Nagoya-shi.

It was their first visit to Japan, and we were delighted to learn thay they had studies Japanese in school. They showed grat familiarity with the language, which made the experience even more enjoyable for everyone.

During the sutra-copying experience, they wrote beautifully and smoothly, with grat care and focus. It was truly impressive to see their dedication and skill.

We were also very happy to hear that they visited our shrine upon the recommendation of a friend in Taiwan. It is always a grat joy to know that Wakeoe shrine is being shared across borders.

While exploring the shrine grounds, they happily took photos of each other, creating a warm and joyful atmosphere.

As they were leaving, they told us how much they had enjoyed their visit, which broughts us great happiness as well.

We are sincerely grateful for this wonderful connection and hope to continue being a place where meaningful memories are made.
